About the Campaign

Supporting young mothers @ the margin is the right thing to do and it’s a good value proposition. Providing services and supports that encourage health, stability and economic self-sufficiency it saves taxpayers untold sums of money. This is multiplied ten-fold if we empower young mothers @ the margin to break generational legacies of system reliance.

The campaign will:

• Focus attention on and give voice to the needs and potential of young mothers @ the margin
• Unify women from all walks of life in support of young mothers @ the margin
• Call on First Lady Michelle Obama to host a White House Summit on young mothers @ the margin
